Welcome to the Top Paddock. We're locals who love sharing the things we find pretty special about this place. Over the hill we run a hobby farm. You're only uninvited visitors will be miniature goats and a few lost sheep. Down by the dam you'll find a platypus if you're lucky and if you're up for a hike to our untouched Meggy Falls, there's a good chance you'll come across some freshwater crayfish. You can bring your own fur babies along for the adventure too.
There's no traffic here, at best you'll see a ute travelling up the gravel road. You'll have to be your own chef on the outdoor fire and you'll have to swap the day spa for an outdoor bath...it's as tough as it sounds.

Star Gazing
There's few places like it
We're in one of the best locations in the world for stargazing, theres's no sky scrapers here just clear skies and minimal light pollution. On a clear night, it's pretty breathtaking. This was captured by one of our guests. You can see stars, planets, and constellations from here. The Milky Way is often visible too. There's a telescope in your tent for the real enthusiasts.

This is Tasmania, the chances are it's going to be cold. That won't be a problem here. Cozy is an understatement.

They love new friends, you can give them a pat but just make sure you keep you doors closed or they'll have no problem waltzing on in to keep you company.
